We like to say that our level one class is for just about everyone, from absolute newbie to advanced improviser just starting out with SAK. Our professional instructor will help each student become more present, less self-conscious and will work towards desensitizing you to the fear of failing. You can expect to play lots of group games and to be exposed to basic improvised scenes taught in the SAK style of play. You will leave this class feeling more confident, more socially aware, and more empowered to break out of your shell. Possibly of greater importance, we also expect you to have an awesomely fun time and to make lifelong friends. PLEASE NOTE: Students repeating this class must wait five days after registration opens to sign up, in order to receive the discounted repeat rate. Any repeat registrations transacted before five days will be charged full rate. This is to help provide opportunity for students who have not yet taken the class to do so.

*Rules and Regs - This class is for ages 16 and older. A non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required for enrollment. The balance is due the first day of class. For students re-taking this level voluntarily, the deposit will be applied toward the repeat tuition price of $175.00. If after the first class you decide to discontinue taking the class, we will gladly refund your money, less the non-refundable deposit. After the second class, the entire tuition is non-refundable.Promotion to the next class level is contingent upon attendance, a demonstration of course concepts through discussion and application in class, and compliance with SAK U conduct guidelines. Students are allowed two absences per course, with no guarantee of make-up classes. If a student misses three or more classes, promotion to the next level and participation in any applicable showcase may be affected.
